Rockford Files Drinking Game!!

I’ve always liked James Garner.  The movie “The Wheeler Dealers” has always been one of my favorite movies and one of those I will watch over and over.

Recently, my hubby and I decided to start watching “The Rockford Files” on Netflix.  Did you know there are 123 available episodes?

Right away we noticed several recurring themes.  There were lots of Volkswagons, he was always using a pay phone, and he inevitably got beaten up or threatened with death in just about every episode.  We’ve watched the entire first season (24 episodes) and started in on the second.

So, we’ve decided to make a drinking game out of it!

Take a sip whenever:

You see a VW Beetle, Bus, or any other style of VW

Rockford uses a pay phone

Rockford gets punched

Rockford gets followed

Rockford gets chased

Rockford's life is threatened or gun is involved

Rockford impersonates a fictitious person

He goes fishing

He asks a cop friend for a favor

He kisses a woman or gets kissed

Angel calls him “Jimmy”

Rocky calls him "son"

Or..... make up your own!!
